Former Cranford Resident Now Rotary District Governor in NY State
A community service effort by the Cranford Rotary Club years ago was this current District Governor's first exposure to Rotary.

On October 4, 2012, Cranford Rotarians handed out dictionaries to every third grader in Cranford and Garwood as part of their annual Third Grade Dictionary Project. Seen above, third grade students at St. Michael School in Cranford hold up their new dictionaries.
This local program highlights Rotary's focus on Basic Education & Literacy at home and around the world. Other areas of focus of Rotary International are: Peace & Conflict Prevention / Resolution; Disease Prevention & Treatment; Water & Sanitation; Maternal & Child Health, and; Economic & Community Development.
