Cranford Rotary Aids Moore, Oklahoma

On the afternoon of May 20, 2013, a tornado struck Moore, Oklahoma with peak winds estimated at 210 miles per hour.  The tornado was 1.3 miles wide at its peak, and an estimated 1,150 homes were destroyed, with an estimated $2 billion in damages.  The storm killed 23 people and injured 377 others.

Cranford Rotary joined many other organizations in donating funds for the restoration of Moore.  The Club matched the donations of the members and sent a check for $1,400 to the Rotary Club of Moore to be used where the funds are needed most.
